Hi, Volker,

I used the GUI of Shredder8 for the tourney. Spike 1.0 Mainz operates very well
in 18 out of 20 games. Then I got a message from the mentioned Shredder8 GUI
that approx. was: 'It is possible that Spike 1.0 Mainz could not be loaded'. And
in fact it did not.

I do not dare to say that there is a bug in this UCI engine. Perhaps I have done
something wrong in the process. This is the reason for which I will try to
delete and re-download this extremely strong engine, which seems to get a very
high level of performance at longer time settings. It seems to me not be 'tuned'
for blitz.
