I just left it at default (sorry, I missed your request to alter selectivity.)
I just set it on infinite time and left for the night.  I had an automatic "you
are now logged off of the network" message pop-up after about 4 hours, which
stopped the process dead in its tracks.  So the time was 4 hours.
