This is also strange. Let me make my point please: science is an international
field. And its main language is English. Also we in Germany add summaries in
English when we publish new articles in German.

From that I conclude that even highly intelligent people in computerchess who
are coming from English speaking nations are by definition not so forced to
study German if their English is the most common language in their World
(country AND science).

From that I conclude that in this forum about computerchess we all should be
trying to speak English. If we can. And you can express yourself in English.
Therefore I thought it would be strange if you now tried to enforce German to
this forum which is only spoken by say 25% of the members.

That is why I beg you not to feel any offense if I asked you to translate your
good statement about xfen etc.

But let me end with a good argument for your case. Your opponent SMK who just
refused to find a compromise with you is also a German and perhaps it shows
something to the international CC community how stubborn also Germans could be
and that you are the German who was trying to find compromises. In other words
you behave like a smart American scientist. While Stefan must face the criticism
that he's a bit limited in his decisions. And the reason seems to be that he
thinks that he can behave this way because he's World Champion. Which is a very
premature view in my eyes.
