Fabien is sceptical about releasing further versions as open source because he
was actually surprised by the amazing strength improvement of Fruit 2.1 himself.

The release of open source engines who are competitive with the best commercials
can easily be not to the best of computerchess, and Fabien is not only
extremely nice, but also a very responsible guy.

Isn't it just amazing to get such a great engine for free as a user ?

I very much like this sceptical engine, although I am kind of disappointed that
the strategy of attack has not been implemented yet.
