It seems probably that both Zappa and Fruit are attractive to ChessBase (and
possibly others) and so I expect that the authors may have recieved cash offers.

If that has or does come to pass, there is nothing wrong in the accpetance of
those authors (Junior in the past as a direct analogy and also somewhat
similarly ChessTiger, Sjeng, Ruffian and some others).

In the meantime, we have had excellent free engines to play with.  So we have
nothing to cry about.
