The Russians have a saying for that:

"tough shitsky".

If Stefan can't keep up, so what?  Is that _anybody's_ responsibility other than
his?  Is it everyone else's responsibility to take actions such that Shredder
stays on top?  I don't see that responsibility being reasonable...
