Just dawned on me (been busy on new crafty changes) that you are concerned with
the issue of playing as "guest".  If you get disconnected, or if Crafty gets
disconnected, the game cannot be resumed?

Not any real solution for that.  Hardly ever happens to Crafty as It sits right
on the internet2 backbone (UAB is an Internet2 "gigapop").  Not anything I can
think of to avoid this except that I suppose we might get you a temp handle on
ICC, or if ICC would not mind, I could temporarily let you log on as "scrappy"
which is not a "guest" account...
