Are you sure that the GUI handles the EGTB. I don't think that is correct. An engine has to be able to probe the EGTB to see if a certain position is better. I think I remember trying Fruit with EGTB using the Frtiz GUI and it didn't work. If I remember correctely it was a game where Junior did an exchange of material and ended up with a Mate via EGTB (WCCC 2005), when I changed engines from Shredder to Fruit it gave a -1.4 instead of the mate. I could be wrong though.
