Dear CC-adepts,
I run a Nunn2 testmatch (Blitz:20'+2") last days between perhaps the two
strongest free engines at the moment.
Toga won this match with a clear difference of 25.5 – 14.5
To me it appears that when you examine the games Toga II 1.0 (and Toga beta2)
takes often advantage in situations with unbalanced material and often with Toga
having the lesser piecematerial but some positional advantage and long term free
pawn advantages. Also the handling of strong knight versus weak(er) bishop is in
good hands when observing some of the games in which this occurs.
For a week ago I ran also a testmatch between Spike and Toga II 1.0 beta 2, this
ended i a draw of 20 – 20 .
