Fern

great post
thank you

but the reply is ok i think
Kittingers Wchess program as seen in the Star Ruby and Star Sapphire are not the
same exact 100% programs as in the Diablo,Super Experts etc..etc
i cannot say exactly how much program improvement there has been but i can say
the programs are not identical from testing by other collectors and discussions
with them

the analogy with the Merc is because she does not realize she is dealing with
such a sophisticated ,knowledgeable aficionado as you
:))

i imagine her reply was intended for the normal computer buyer

a better anology i think would be Nelsons work for Excalibur

the programs seen in the Alexandra and model 404d (for example) are not 100% the
same as in the GM ..But there are not tremondous differences either

and the years between the release of the GM and newer models is almost 8 years
now

Best
Steve
