Thanks for providing this information. I appreciate the "reading between the lines" that you also have done. While I very much like the Novag machines from the mid 1980's through the early 1990's, I have suspected that the recent models have simply been retreads, for the most part. However, the most significant revelation in the letter was the information about the Mercedes cars - now I know why I drive BMW's! :-) Dick Schneiders
