Subject: How do you create or modify a book?

I know for most of you here this is a silly question.  But give a guy a break
and help me out here.  What is the best utility to edit a book.  I have
Chessbase 8 and Fritz 8 and native Shredder 9.1  There is too much literature
out there and I am really confused.  If somebody could point me in the correct
direction I would greately appreciate it.
