We have a different view here, Uri.  If I took fruits evaluation and modified it
to use my board and data structures, I would no longer feel that the program was
altogether my work.  It would not matter if Fabien gave his consent.  I would
consider the program to be part my work and part Fabien's work.  For me, that is
unacceptable.

Bruce Moreland once said that he wrote his own tablebase code because he felt
that using someone else's would make the program less "his".  I feel exactly the
same way.  Lacking Bruce's programming talent, it is unlikely that my program
will ever use tablebases.

But, I have no problem if others use tablebase code they did not write.  Just
because it's not right for me doesn't make it wrong.  I also have no concerns
about you doing something unscrupulous.  I know you to be so honest that you
would tell your wife or girlfriend "no" if she asked if you liked her new dress.
