You mus check the manufacturers website if a BIOS-Update is available. I think in most cases it is a decent board and not expensive is for example Asus A8V Deluxe. DDRam is not so crucial for Chess performance. The fastet is curently for such a board DDR400 sometimes called PC3200. regards Joachim
