If I am right I'm sure a lot of posters here will buy F9. It is not very
expensive and we have followed Fritz for a lot of years. Some even back from
version 1! (I am not sure but I think my first Fritz was version number 3.)

And am I the only person that has made the strange observation that Fritz
"always" is best/strongest in odd numbered versions. Fritz 4-6-8 did not impress
 me so much, but version 3, 5 and 7 did!

I agree that it can be a bt cumbersome to get the windows rigth in the F8 gui,
but normally I manage to get it the way I want it. Its specially the board and
the pieces (I actually like to watch chess!)that make me prefer CG Fritz gui.
