Then recording the best move and evaluation might show something about >how similar they are. the problem is that old Novag's ran on an entirely different procceser and at different clock speeds the these new models so its hard to just seperate out the software differences alone if the hardware difference was only the clockspeed then your idea would work better to be honest as a collector i am not so interested if the program is entirely different or only slightly different or even exactly the same(which i am confident it is not) i like the Star Sapphire and the Star Ruby and i dont seem to be bothered by the LCD pieces like most people are in addition the SS has already been discountinued making it a collectors item already Best Steve
