I understand that you mean to the game of the second round.
I looked at this game and found that chessmaster6000 cannot reproduce 14...Re8
and prefers 14....Bg4 at depthes 4/9,4/10,5/11, 6/12
It needed more than 30 minutes for reaching the depth 6/12

The result of losing the first 2 games and winning the last 9 games of the
tournament seems strange and the most logical explanation that I can find is
that there was a bug in the king in the first 2 games which was fixed later.
