I did not test it but I suppose the following thing :
NAG values (numeric annotaions glyphs) are part of the PGN standard . They are
agood hundred of numeric codes which substitute for our usual abreviated
evaluations for moves ("!" or "?!" etc) or positions ("+=", "-/+", etc).
If you export an annotated game from chessbase to PGN you will get such "$6" for
"?!" or "$7" (instead of the square for "forced move" in chessbase own notation)
in the resulting PGN.
As these NAGs are far from readable, i suppose that this option converts them to
their more familiar equivalent.
