The update supports Chess960 so you can see if your version >shows 'NewChess960 Game' menu item under "File" menu item. > >Roy Hi Roy The kick is I installed it in the chessbase gui so there had to be an exe to install uci engine I checked for updates on shredder but it just tells me I have the latest version and nothing with 9.1 in it is found Now my shredder gui does support frc My engine just says Shredder 9 uci and has a date of 7/14/2005 Tom
