This would not be normal on a properly built machine. The X2 CPUs do not run hot
like for example the Intel dual cores or even the Intel single cores for that
matter. This is a very specific problem with his particular machine and is an
issue for the vendor to resolve. For the vendor to have supplied it without a
BIOS that recognises the dual cores is shameful, to supply a machine that
overheats in 10 mins is also shameful.
