Not only does the above comment miss the point, but it supports the original
argument.  Moreover, it is relevant whether he won that particular game.

The fact is, Kasparov did an enormous amount of preparation for this match,
including opening study.  This would be much more difficult in FischerRandom.

The above two sentences are hardly worth debating, they prove nothing and add
nothing to the debate.

The wins that Spassky pulled off in their second match were news for Fischer
fans.  Can anyone provide a qualified opinion re the respective endgame
abilities of the current top ten?  I found that FischerRandom often just results
in the stronger player simplifying into the endgame, thus removing any
disadvantage of not being able to use a superior opening 'memory.'
