A very good documentary about chess is "The Great Chess Movie" (a straithforward
translation from the original title in french ("Jouer sa vie") would be "Playing
your Life") from Canadian IM Camille Coudari (1982). There are interviews with
Karpov, Fischer, Kortchnoi, Polugaievsky, Hort etc..
As the website states: (the film) "analyze the personalities and strategies of
the players and comment on the interplay of politics and chess". It relates the
situation in the 70's.
