Subject: Some hard test positions for computer programs

I am interested in results of programs in these positions to decide which
program to use in correspondence chess.

I am interested to know the results of Hiarcs7 with selectivity 5,6 and 7.
I want to know if selectivity 6 or 7 is realy better for correspondence games.

These positions were posted here in the past.

position number 1:
r1bqr1k1/pp1p1ppp/5n2/1N2n3/2P1PB2/6P1/PP1Q1K1P/4RB1R b - - 0 1

The right move is d6
Ferret solved this position in more than 20 hours in pentium300
It is a hard position for chess programs.

position number 2:
r2qr1k1/ppNb1ppp/3Q1n2/8/2P1PBn1/5KP1/PP5P/4RB1R b - - 0 1

This position is a result of the first position after the moves 13...d6 14.Qxd6
Bd7 15.Nc7 Neg4+ 16.Kf3
The right move is g5 for example Bxg5 Nxh2+ and white has no advantage.

position number 3:
7r/1k2P2P/4p3/1pp5/8/2pp4/1n3PP1/R4K1R w - - 0 1

The right move is g4 but programs(with the exception of exchess) usually prefer
the losing move e8=Q

The best reply to g4 is Nc4 (probably black is losing but Nc4 is the best
chance) and programs usually have problems in finding Nc4.

position number 4:
r4rk1/2p3pp/p7/1p1pq3/8/2P2N2/PPQ2KPP/R1B5 w - - 0 1

The task is to avoid Kg1
Fritz5.16 can do it in something between 10 and 15 minutes
I tries other program and they were slower.
I do not know if Fritz5.32 is better than Fritz5.16 in this position.

position number 5(the last position that I posted):
3r1b1k/pp6/2n2q1p/2Bp1B1Q/5P2/1P4p1/P7/4R1K1 w - - 0 1

The target is to find Re6
All the programs that I tried(with the exception of chessmaster6000) need more
than an hour to solve it on my pentium200MMX.
