The project is still very much in the research phase.  We'll submit a paper with
technical details on the algorithm to the ICGA Journal sson.  We may also try to
make some of the endings available through the internet, but that is still
somewhat in question.  We have no plans to systematically generate all 7-man
endings.  Even if the work were distributed, the massive amount of data involved
would make coordinating such an effort very difficult.  Typically, the more
interesting the ending, the bigger it is.  kbbbkbb is about 2 GB, but krbnkrb is
168 GB.  Endings with pawns (which we have not generated yet) will probably be
another factor of 2 or 3 larger.

Would you be interested in having some 7-man endings available on your ftp site?
