Does this mean, that Zappa showed an 18 ply long PV at depth 1 with score 7.1?
Are you sure, HTs were cleared.
Contrary to other readers, I prefer the longer output option of the CB GUI. With
this shortened output, it is obviously impossible to see, how scores and PVs
evolve during the search.
Yace shows f6 for a very short time (Dan suggested this move, too), and then
also pretty soon shows very convincing score for the pawn endgame. The analysis
also shows an interesting artefact of my search - after some time, black refuses
to take the rook. Looks rather strange ...
