Last word I heard was N.O. ~ 80% under water, and as mentioned, the water is still rising. I-10 pretty much gone. Small part of Superdome roof gone, about 10,000 or so people there now, and water surrounding the building. Some fires. No potable water for the people still there, infrastructure...you get the idea. Total evacuation to be done - if they can find some way to do it, but conditions are deterioating. At that, N.O. was lucky being on the west side of Katrina. Biloxi, MS. appears to be pretty much gone. Gulfport suffered greatly also. This has been an unmitigated disaster for the gulf coast, and will impact the entire U.S. economically. :( > >Regards >Dave
