Did you copy the engine file (spike.exe and Zappa.exe) into the Engines folder,
or EnginesUCI folder. (You can even make seperate folders for each uci engine if
you want.) If so, when you crank up Fritz 8, did you "Create UCI engine" via the
tool bar at the top: Engine - Create UCI Engine and browse to the folder where
the engine resides, click on that, and let Fritz "create" the engine?
After doing this, the engine should show up in the active engines file.
