Thank you Steve! As far as I remember I bought it way before Novag Constellation 2mhz, I believed it was 1981 but it could have been 1982. I was personally in Glasgow 1984 when Conchess (Plymate) was one of the winners. Jan Louwmann demonstrated a prototype of Super Constellaton between the rounds. He showed us the first computer that could win with knight and bishop against king. I have a Conchess Glasgow with 4mhz from that event. Both Conchess and Fidelity used secret speeds of the 6502 in Glasgow but I believe it was around 7mhz 6502 and Fidelity had some hardware problems with one of the computers. A short check, I found results from Prestige in Ply from 1982, so it must have been from 81 or 82. I guess you are referring to different versions of Elite. Bertil
