You're joking, right?

Zappa gave an incredibly strong performance, one of the strongest in many years
at WCCC, and you're not thinking it's strong enough to buy? That it needs
further results from amateur testers?

You're really joking, right?

As you mentioned, Uri, AC has to get Zappa ready to roll out the door now - no
time to spare. Padderborn, and further testing will have to wait until Zappa is
ready to go. Having a tester working on a beta copy is just a poor idea, now.
Every change made afterward will be viewed with suspicion and distrust. That's
just no way to roll out a new product.

I realize AC was a little rough around the edges with his mention of Leo, but it
does seem that he and Zappa have become a huge magnet for every load of horse
shit that can be dumped their way. And except for the Leo reference (and whether
it was meant as humor or not, I have absolutely no idea. Unwise imo, in any
case.), I believe I would have handled Zappa's roll out to a commercial program
just like AC has.

Why not give the guy a break, and be patient? See what Zappa turns out like,
when it's ready. You might even like it! :)

I'm sure in many future tournaments, Zappa will be a contestant, and right into
the thick of the competition. But right now, AC needs to work on making Zappa a
commercial product he can be proud of, not just a strong chess engine, but a
total product.

Go AC & Zappa!
