Ist Wissen bei Schachprogrammen immer sinnvoll?

Folgende Partie oben, verlor ich nach Zeit gegen Shredder, weil Shredder nicht
erkannte dass die Stellung Remis ist.

Wie man hier sieht: Weniger Wissen bringt mehr Punkte!

Oder etwa nicht?
