Subject: Winner of the Prize for the Most Insistent Subject of the Year

Author: Fernando Villegas

After thourough search between too many contestants, we, the handlers and
controllers and owners of this site, open or hidden, arrived at the conclusion
that the prize to the Cliche Subject of the year goes, this time, for "Test your
engines!" and all its derivatives.
Some of them:
Engine a solved it in 23 seconds...
Engine z solved it in 12 minutes...
etc.
Not that to test engines is bad: it is great. My doctor adviced me to test at
least one engine a day. It is the best recipe NOT to play chess. We are just
talking of the degree of frequency a subject appears. Nothing personal, neither
disdainful.
The contest was close. Worthy competitors were "Engine A Vs Engine B after
456639956 games", "Chessmaster So and So is a monster" and "Collector Corner:
Machine of the age of Louis XIV get 12.97 bucks in e-bay".
Prize is just the honor to win.
Have a nice day
Fernando
