Thanks for the settings Thorsten,
I printed them out from the post on your forum but the listing was eleven pages
long!
Where do you find the time to play all your tournaments? Don't you ever get
phonecalls on your Sumo Nokia with Chess Genius program, just when it is about
to mate the Mephisto Mondial again? -"Hello, here is Frans Morsch calling, why
are you playing this old Mephisto program of mine? This is no good, you must try
my new "Fritz 4 phone" and I will wipe the floor with Richard Lang's Genius
again!"-
I have more Pro Deo settings to share, not so long:
My radical new alchemy experiment with Pro Deo Vulcan settings, also has many
blocked extensions, is not yet suited for games I think, more tuning may help
hopefully in endgames, but it did find a nice variation in Aufgabe 51 from
Michael Gurevich, and holds it from ply 15 on! It's a pretty difficult position
for computers; http://f23.parsimony.net/forum50826/messages/132129.htm

P.S. I don't really understand why Ed wrote in the settings list that he found
no good effect for
[Pruning = MISC_22] * Sort root moves on nodes
I have kept it in all my settings, nothing spectacular but seemed to help a
little.
