Championships do not have the importance they used to have in the times when we
had 9-10 chess programs worldwide. It is nice to go to Tel Aviv, Iceland,
Torino, see the cities and listen to the conferences about what is new in the
computer chess field. I wouldn't buy a product just because it won a
worldchampionship.

Not me if it is not UCI/Winboard and meet some other criteria also.

Yes, I would buy them but they already fail on the first criterium. They are not
UCI/Winboard.
