An interesting thread... I also play a lot with most of my machines and enjoy
that very much. I also get much beating, especially in blitz. The worst
opponent for me is Polgar. I get a fair score against Superexpert C, a little
worse against B, play about even (OK,OK...perhaps I get only 40%) with MMIV, but
Polgar....! Needless to say I do not bother to play blitz against the strongest
Mephisto or Fidelity programs. Against them I need much more time to have a
chance. I play a lot of 30 minute games agains Mach IV (6110) not necessarily
because it plays so interesting chess, but because I just love that little
machine.

My problem is where to have the computers. 12 big wooden boards and a Phantom
takes space... They must be kept where they can be seen, because half the joy
is to look at them, and it must be easy to get them on a table for playing. How
do my fellow collectors solve this problem. Can anyone recommend some kind of
furniture? The small ones(Mach III, Mach IV, SuperConny etc) are easy , because
they can be fitted into a bookshelf, but the big ones are starting to represent
a problem.

Erik
