I think it a tragic mistake to try to sell any software product with no
technical support.  I would complain about a product I bought for $5 in a bin
without it.

Most of the time, I can fix it.  Sometimes, it will be some strange interaction
of video driver or some other strange thing.  Since chess programs invariably
have a GUI of some kind, I think that sort of problem cannot go away.

A software program with no support it not worth anything.
