Hi Take a look here: (DFI NV4 ULTRA-D M/Board) http://www.dfi-street.com/forum/showthread.php?t=22515 Q: "Will I have to re-install windows if I change the cpu? I'm sure I've read something about this but I can't find it now." A: "Yes. Your current installation has the single core version of the NT Kernel, you will need to reinstall XP to take advantage of the second core." Hope for you there is an easier solution though.
