The later gui8s fix some problems with the newest 6-man tablebases that cause
Runtime 1000 errors. If you do not use 6-man tablebases, then the only
difference I know is that your own kNs and ply level is sometimes shown in the
lower right corner where the opening info is, right before or after the
opponent's comes through. It is only really noticeable in a long game, since it
goes away once you make your move.
