I would only assume that GCP wanted to support as many protocals possible to
improve the client base that would potentially purchase his program. And quite
frankly it was a wise decision.

Whether the next version will have it or not remains to be seen. I would suspect
so.

If Anthony doesn't put out an UCI capable version that is his choice as well,
but it is also the choice of users to state they wouldn't buy it without it.
Let's face it we live in a consumer driven world.

Personally I am eager to see how Vincent's comments in the past come back to
hurt his and Anthony's sales now. As he stated in the past that he didn't care
if a few thousand "computer geeks" bought his program or not. In fact he said he
didn't want those same geeks to buy his program. He didn't need their sales to
be successful.

With the impending release of Diep3D and Zappa in the Diep interface, I for one
remember those comments and can't quite forget them :)

If I was Anthony I would simply try to support as many protocals as possible. He
then opens potential sales to the widest possible comsumer base and will more
successful than limiting what users can do.

GCP made his views clear in his previous post. While I didn't like the tone of
the thread, I have to admit it warmed my heart. Both GCP and I speak what is on
our minds, and if that offends people then so be it.

I like GCP. I like Anthony. I hope this can be worked out in good time.

Peter

PS - If your wondering why I didn't say I "liked Vincent", then you haven't been
reading here long enough :)
