It wins almost all games it plays by having a Queen swoop in from another point in time to checkmate the opponent's king! They enlisted GCP's help to use similar code in the UCI implementation for Zappa 3.0, so that it can now play against engines that were playing before the introduction of UCI, such as Cray Blitz and the Turk. (original version.) Even better, it can play forward in time against UCI versions of Fritz and Junior! Be careful with that though--having to play so far in the future as that causes considerable lag, so it is not recommended for blitz or bullet games. ;-) kp
