When there are new approaches, they mostly will be ignored by the majority.
This has been true concerning Chess960 / Fischer Random Chess and is true for
the 10x8 / 8x8 FullChess approach encouraging Capablanca piece set based new
ideas like Capablanca Random Chess or the (patented) Gothic Chess.
