Let me postulate an interesting analogue: - SSDF - analogue to NBA regular season, - WCCC - analogue to NBA playoff. One can be leader of the regular season, even for years, and lose the critical game(s) in playoff. Also, one can lose all the games in regular season, and suddenly play an incredible playoff and win title. And vice versa. So, who is the best? This problem is solved in NBA, but in computer chess … Best regards, Vladan PS: Notice the bug in previous equations! In NBA, to compete in playoff you must be among leaders in regular season. I don’t think we will see the WCCC 2005 playoff Champion playing the 2006 regular season ;)
