Wow what a BIG problem :) What is more important, being able to play games which are longer than 256 moves - how many are these, 0.3%? - or being able to run some of the best engines in Fritz, Junior, Hiarcs? Shredder Classic cannot run cb-natives, but Fritz can run UCI. Also, you know very well that Fritz has had, and still HAS support for the WinBoard protocol. Jonny uses the new version of the adapter (included in the download) and has no problems with it whatsoever. The other option is Wb2uci. Zappa won't escape :)) Good night and good luck.. Steve
