Subject: Shredder 9 - engine versions?

Apologies if this has been answered before, but can anyone confirm that Shredder
9.1 UCI (obtainable directly from Shredderchess.com) and Shredder 9 from
Chessbase actually use the same engine ?

I know they come with different opening book formats which can't be used across
GUI interfaces, but I'm keen to know that the engines themselves are the same
strength.
