So, Will, why do you think I'd wakeup at 6AM on game day just to be a bad sportsman? I don't intend to win. Just to participate. I need to prove to myself that I have enough confidence on the Thinker pocket pc build, and the new ThinkerBoard pocket pc UI and ICS interface (not to have the bugs of one ICS interface we know that caused trouble in CCT7). Not only is Thinker in a big HW disadvantage, but time-wise too - there is no timestamp for the pocket pc. Still not convinced? I have a 624Mhz X30 with 64MB of RAM. Is there anyone out there who has a 624Mhz PPC with 128MB of RAM (not ROM) and is willing to operate Thinker? If Thinker loses all its games, its no big deal. Its already expected. If Thinker wins or draws a game, well, ... I'm even turning on the Thinker Auto-Talk. It should chat by itself - in Eliza fashion. All hands-off. I would have to log-in as guest to chat, because its impractical to chat with a stylus. Who else out there will be running entirely on their own software (not counting the OS)? See, there is quite a number of unique things with the Thinker entry. --- On September 13, 2005 at 21:36:18, Will Singleton wrote: >On September 13, 2005 at 17:19:43, Peter Skinner wrote: > >>Hello all, >> >>If you haven't seen the site today, you way want to stop by and see who the >>latest (and surprising) entrant is. >> >>One thing is for sure.. hardware will DEFINATELY be a factor :) >> >>Peter > >There's obviously no way to verify hardware in an online event.
