Columbus Egg is pretty interesting. There are games where fruit is crushed and other ones where shredder plays very badly. Things are less "quiet" with this setting. So I fear that a larger number of games than usual will be needed for a true evaluation : you can have 7.5-2.5 in a series of ten games and then 3-7 in the following one (at least at blitz). If this were also to be found at slower time controls than we will have to wait for a while before any conclusion could be drawn ... Regards Marc
