hi Josh I have the 1750 L it came out in 1995 if the price stays below $25 i would say its ok but not higher Radio Shack used the numbering system to give their estimate of the rating so they say its 1750 USCF i would place it as about 1500 ELO here is some more detailed info on it for you http://support.radioshack.com/support_games/28985.htm backpacking Regards Steve
