I bought a software chess program at a flea market a few years ago, called
"Kasparov's Gambit". On the side of the box the age of the product is revealed.
Required hardware: 386...16MHz or faster
640K Base RAM
2 MB EMS free
MS DOS 5 or higher
Does anyone know if this can be installed into a Windows machine via a DOS
window? I'm using WinXP and don't want to try until I get an opinion from
someone here who can cast their memory that far back. The program comes in a set
of 5 x 1.44mb floppies. It's in good original condition with the owner's manual.
It might actually be worth keeping as an investment. :)
regards
Lin
