In any case, Kasparov's vicory in Las Palmas was not considered to reveal he was
in the best of forms depite his victory. I remember Kramnik's comment right
after the tournament declaring tha Kasparov (in view of his games) could no
longer claim to be a notch above the rest. I don't think Kramnik would repeat
that statment now.
