Some comments: 1)Tunc won the 16th world championship(1999-2004) and of course at the time that he played both hardware and software were relatively weaker to their level today. He won it with score of 12/16 2)van Oosterom did not play at this championship but played at the 18th world championship and won it with 11/14(one game not of van Oosterom is still unfinished but it cannot change the fact that van Oostrem is the current world champion and not Tunc unless you think that we need to wait all games to be finished to give van Oosterom the championship) I think that 11/14 is better than 12/16 3)van Oosterom started to play at the 21's championship. 4)I did not say that van Oosterom may want Zappa to play for him but only that he can use it as a tool to improve his results and I am sure that chess programs and better hardware can help to improve the results of players.
