You probably misunderstand seriously.

In my case, it is not a task I _want_.  It is just one I will _accept_.  Sort of
a responsibility everyone here has, actually.  If you want a forum where
personal attacks are limited, SPAM is limited, etc., then you have to "pay the
piper".  I've been moderator several times.  I would be perfectly happy to never
be a moderator again.  But I am willing to do it from time to time since we all
have a responsibility to keep CCC alive and functional...

If I don't get a single vote, it won't hurt my feelings whatsoever.  And I won't
be disappointed in any way.  If I win, I'll simply do whatever it takes to make
things run smoothly until the next election, where I will most likely not accept
any nomination, since "variety is the spice of life" and that holds for
moderators as well...
